Corner bands w/ Thinset, Hydroban or Sealant?
I've installed the RSS Foam pan/base, and Hardie board walls. I'm about to install the Corner bands w/ Thinset, but after watching Sealant video, https://youtu.be/-n106OhnWnk?si=gg6Cj5zpY_VjUohq
I'm considering if I should use Hydroban or a Sealant instead of the MultiMax Lite Thinset?
I intend to cover with hydroban after corners are installed
I've also got a gap in a corner between the top of pan and bottom of hardie board, I plan to fill with thinset before installing corner.

Use thinset for the banding.
Then cover with hydroban
