Waterproof around this window
Greetings, how would you set this window up for water proofing and tiling? Distance from stud to jam is 1/2".

Oops I had it backwards I thought you needed to bring the window frame out, not cut it back. Use sealant between the board and the window frame. Yes, all seams on cement board need to be treated with mesh tape.
