Best Pan Ever
okay boys here's the post. I'm used to doing a little bit of a slope on plywood and then putting rubber down and building the rest of the pan. but I'm thinking about changing because the tile coach is so cool. now I'm thinking about putting the rubber liner on the plywood whole pan into the flow FX drain. then full-on mortar pan at slope then waterproof membrane on top of that. what dost thou thinketh. The goal is the best pan in the world ever with no possibility of failure ever. what you think. I got prova mat as the meme brain. My final concern is I want to make sure the tile is extremely attached. so should I waterproof the prova mat or trust it or what? grouchias

No need for a rubber liner. Just use the FLoFX and sheet membrane (prova). Hydro Ban on top of that would add some insurance.
