Go Board with Schluter pre-slope shower pan

Hello. I have been going over how I want to waterproof my renovated tiled shower. I have considered many different methods. Any thoughts on using GoBoard for the walls with using the waterproof sealant on the seams and screws, along with the Schluter pre-sloped shower pan? I would use Schluter waterproof band and thinset to waterproof the pan corners, curb corners, and the seam where the pan meets the GoBoard. I need around eight 3' x 5' GoBoards and they are only about $25 per board. I have read where many tile guys like using GoBoard for the walls. I would also use Schluter niche as well. Is this a good method to use?

Yes Schluter fasteners are ok to use. Also, kerdi band (or similar) is fine to use on the seams on the walls in lieu of sealant. Kerdi band is a must on the floor/wall connection.
