Tub in wet area

Hey folks,

I have a client looking to install a freestanding tub and shower in a dedicated wet area in the bathroom. This area will be separated from the rest of the bathroom by a curb with the whole area slopped to a linear drain on the shower wall opposite the tub. There’s going to need to be some kind of pertusion through any type of waterproofing for the tub drain. Ive tried to find a freestanding tub drain rough in with a fleece bonding flange so I could install membrane on the floor but coming up empty handed. Anyone have any suggestions on how to waterproof around this drain?

Thanks Isaac. Directly below this bathroom is the master bath steam room with tiled ceiling etc…last thing I need is water leaking down into this room. I was thinking using a sealant for that purpose, but not having done it before I wanted to dot my i’s and cross my t’s. Would you recommend roughing up the surface of the flange to give it something to grab onto?
