Valve and Fixture Choices
There are an infinite number of choices for Shower Valves and Fixtures. My wife wants all the bells and whistles in this shower re-model....Without spending and arm and leg........ So a rain head from the ceiling, a wall mounted shower head, jets, and a wand (to clean she says). That's a lot of plumbing. Kohler, Delta and Moen all make high end shower components and sets. They are also very expensive.
Do you professionals have experience and confidence with other brands? Horror stories would be welcomed also. I want great value, but if that means going with the flagship brands I'll do that...... don't want to be penny wise and dollar foolish.

I have always used Delta. Love their lifetime warranty. But I decided to try a valve that was not one of h big name products. I liked the write ups from plumbers. I have had it in now for 5 yrs and love it. I am using a similar one for my kids tub to shower conversion. The quality seems to be there along with the price and according to customer reviews they are quick to respond and satisfy customers. This is the one I bought/installed.
