Kerdi Mixing Valve
I have used Kerdi board around my tub/shower. I have installed the Kerdi mixing valve flange which has an opening of 4 1/2"dieameter. I have not yet tiled this around the valve (the tile in the image is not yet attached to the wall). The issue is the Riobel mixing valve is 4" diameter and the gasget of the face plate will not seal on the Kerdi size opening. Suggestions?

Dont forget to allow for the thinset will will bring out the tile more. If that does not do it, just trim as much as you need to until the cover touches.
