shower valve waterproofing
Below are pictures of the shower valves. They are bit smaller 3.25" diameter (two), larger one is 4.5" wide and 3.25"tall. I have looked at latricrete shower valve covers 4.5" diameter. How can i waterproof these irregular size valves (kohler). Thank you for any suggestions and tips.

I like to lay a bead of silicone below the lip of the front cover. So if water gets behind it diverts to the sides.
