Dry Pack over existing Plywood/Durock subfloor.
Planning to use the dry pack method and the FlowFx drain...
I am installing this shower over a previously tiled floor. Tile has been removed and the durock/thinset is still on the floor. It's completely intact and relatively smooth. I Patched the few areas that pulled up with the tile. The floor is solid and level... 3/4" Plywood subfloor with 1/2" durock (thin set both sides) over 2x10 joists, 16" on center.
Can I install the dry bed directly over the floor as is?
Should I apply more thin set for bonding?
