Custom Foam Shower Pan "EAST COAST FOAM" vs RSS

Shane from Flo FX recommended "EAST COAST FOAM" for my large (93" x 48") custom foam pan.

I've not seen anyone comment on East Coast Foam. Does anyone have any experience with East Cost Foam's custom foam pan product vs RSS? Please share and/or your experience with RSS Custom Foam Pan.

I've seen Isaac speak well of RSS for their custom pans and I'm going to price them out and find out how thick they are at the edge for my 48" x 93" application.

Just joined the forum and have spent three years watching Isaac's YouTube Videos. I expect to sign up for one of Isaac's one on one coaching sessions. Replacing a large garden tub with a curb less, custom 48" x 93" walk in shower that will have a 78" x 60" glass splash guard and no door.

I've also been looking into a custom Tile Redi 48" x 93" pan at $1,806.65. That barrier free version will have a 2.26" front lip so I will have to trim my 16' 2 x 10 floor joists and then augment the structural support from the basement if I go that route.

I am using Ditra Heat in the adjoining bathroom floor but not in the shower. My wife really doesn't want a curb (which would make this so much easier). I'm almost 70 and we plan to age in place here as our forever home.

Started the project three years ago and then several surgeries and life got in the way but now I'm retired and knocking out this Master Bath Remodel is my number one priority for the next few months.

Thanks in advance. Hope someone has experience with East Coast Foam that they can share.

@bt has an awesome start to finish thread called “help me build my tiny bathroom” starting June 4th going all the way to Nov.

He did a barrier free tile Redi pan.
