Walls, drain, float pan?
With shower demo nearly done, I am thinking through my next steps. After prepping the space (studs square, level, plumb; and concrete slab cleanish), is this the right order of installation?
(1) Walls (I want GoBoard)
(2) Curb (a pre-formed curb, but which?)
(3) Drain (replace old cast iron with new FloFX)
(4) Float the pan (Isaac's "training wheels" method is a stellar piece of instruction, BTW)
(5) Cure (I see cure times in the overnight to weekend range, and some much longer)
(6) Waterproof (Hydro Ban or Aquadefense)
(7) Beer or other adult beverage as necessary. š

Yes sir. Sounds like a plan.
Cure time for dry pack before liquid membrane is at least 72 hours. If you did sheet membrane you could do it next day. If necessary. I would just wait if you can
