Bubbles under Kerdi membrane over Ditra heated floor
The final unevenness is a pain ! especially if your have a 2x2 (or smaller if you dare1) ceramic tile.
I know how to correct the bubbles, but the final surface is still quite uneven, is there a better way ?
Could I apply a good quality thinset (or Custom Building Products Skim Coat & Patch Cement Underlayment) on the ditra and then use Laticrete hydro ban cementitious for waterproofing ?
Does anybody have another solution ?
Thanks

Are you talking about not using Kerdi at all...and just filling the Ditra Heat membrane and then liquid waterproofing over it?
I would just continue using the Kerdi over it, but do a skim coat of thinset to smooth before setting tiles. That would be a better solution.
