RSS Pro Pan and Wallboard sealing
Used the RSS Pro Pan and Wallboard. Issac stated he still liked to use the banding where the pan meets the walls. So guessing that would delete the RSS Sealant for the pan to wall connection and just use Banding and mortar? I am certain the sealant in combo with the banding and mortar would create a problem right?
Can i use the sealant for the wallboard seams and screwheads and then the corner, banding and mortar for the pan to wall?
Am I overthinking this?
Thanks for any quick replies as I am heading toward pan to wall connections.

It stemmed from a shower I came into where the Wedi was already ordered. The pan didn't match the walls very well. So I had to adjust and dado the pan.
All that work and then the sealant joints and I just did not trust it. So then I put the Nova fiber and Hydroban over every corner and it just became the norm.
We cut 2x2 squares of the fiber and put those over the washers on the go board. We have stopped using sealant there. But still use it on the seams of the boards. Band the seams with fiber and Hydroban.
Make or own corners from fiber for the niche and vertical corner bands.
