Trying to ensure a good product match
I am starting a bathroom renovation I hope you can advise me. It will be a small bathroom with 3’x4’ curbless corner shower (2 glass walls, 2 solid walls). I selected Flo fx bond flange kit.
My plan was a dry pack shower pan, then flo fx waterproof membrane and banding. I got laticrete hydro ban to waterproof the walls if I used cementboard board but wondering if “go board” would be better. I liked the idea of waterproofing walls with hydroban but was hesitant on relying on a liquid membrane on floor so that’s why I chose the flo fx membrane.
Any advice appreciated.

The reason I would advise doing liquid over the sheet membrane on the pan and 6” up the wall is that it can be difficult for those without experience with the sheet membranes to get it perfect.
It can’t hurt anyways. Also, I don’t advise flood testing hydro ban liquid. A small leak won’t show up in a 24 hr flood test, and hydro ban has a propensity to have issues with complete submersion while the mortar in the system is still curing (water vapor escaping from the mortar). Especially in winter time, it can take up to 14 days for a mortar bed to completely dry.
