Hydroban Steam Shower
Is Hydroban board with sealant at joints, followed by Hydroban membrane over all of the fastners and joints sufficient for waterproofing a residential steam shower? Based on prior Tile Coach videos, I was looking at the RSS system, but it appears I would still need to apply a membrane over their wallboard, which somewhat defeats the purpose of ordering when I can get Hydroban locally.

found this video. Seems that only using Hydroban xp is approved for steam showers. . I learned something today. i was assuming you would liquid membrane the whole thing anyway.
