Shower Waterproofing

Isaac, In you "$20,000 Tile Shower..." video, you put in the pan, then curb, then drain, then corners and banding, and then sheet membrane over the entire pan. But in the "How to fix leaking Kerdi Shower..." video, you put the membrane over the entire pan before you put the corners and banding on. Is there a reason the membrane over the pan was done in a slightly different order in both videos?
