Shower Waterproofing

Hello,

Last night I installed ditra heat and kerdi membrane in the shower pan. The plan was to install the kerdi waterproofing strips and corners. But looking over the kerdi I found two air pockets in the kerdi floor. Apparently i put my knuckles down while working the corners.

Any ideas? My thought is to cut out and use kerdi straps to repair. The thought of having a knife near the wire is stressing.
