Explain the moisture sandwich
When I place a sheet membrane over an underlayment, then liquid membrane all around the thinset seams, is this not a moisture sandwich?
i would think not since water is not even allowed to get under…

I wish I had watched that video before I started my first (failed) shower pan. I switched from a pan liner to topical mid-way through, but kept the clamping drain. Failed flood test, of course, consulted with Isaac, and ripped it out and did it the right way with a FloFX bonding flange.
