Kerdi and a liquid membrane
I can't seem to find a vendor in my area that carries anything but Kerdi so It looks like I am being forced to use a kerdi pan. My plan was to use cement board walls. I know I can use Aqua Defense on cement board. Can I use it over the Kerdi pan so I get a uniform membrane? I'm concerned about a chemical reaction between the liquid membrane material and the Kerdi material.

honestly, I don't think there are ANY codes on liquid waterproofing. Or waterproofing in general.
Consider that people used to just cement board, tape seams and go
Red guard is terrible though. Don't use it.
I would aqua defense all over that thing
