Rubber liner
Quick question. I have a shower approx 6’x4’ with non centered drain. I planned on doing a mud deck shower base with a rubber liner underneath. Also, I’m using the flow fx drain as well as the no flo fx membrane. Is the rubber liner underneath the shower pan base not needed if the drain itself doesn’t have weeping holes?
Thanks

Sounds like you are combining systems. The Flo fx drain and membrane are used without the rubber liner. They are a topical waterproof.
The rubber, used over a pre slope, is a water in-water out system. You should not combine the two.
Coach has many videos about flo fx drain with mud shower pan and membrane.
I would add that I also 2 coat hydroban over everything I do.
