Failed The Flood Test

Hi All,

Just finished my Schluter shower over the weekend but failed the flood test ☹.  It was raining pretty bad in the basement.  You will notice I am testing a curbless shower pan so that is the reason for the 2x4s.

The issue looks like there was a slight gap in the seam of the kerdi band (Red Arrow) 

A couple questions:

·        Can I re-bond the existing kerdi band to the 90 degree corner?

·        Should I replace a section of the band but ok to keep the existing corner?

·        Or what is the best fix for this issue?
