Kerdi Curb edges
I am using a kerdi foam curb. I'm using Hydroban liquid membrane to waterproof over cement board and floating a mud pack floor....my first time for mudpack. Easy question I think. The curb has 2x4 studs on either side. Should I just butt the curb up next to the wood and waterproof around the joint or put a strip of cement board over the 2x4 like the rest of the shower? As I type this the answer now seems more obvious than when I was tired last night, but I'll take your feedback anyway......

Haha yes you got it right. Cement board over the studs and then thinset the curb to it.
