TileCoach Flo FX Membrane/Tape/Collars vs Tile-Redi Tape + Collars - Water proofing between CURBLESS BARRIER FREE TILE REDI PAN & Ditra-Heat
I'm about to place a substantial (about $3K) Tile Redi order that includes a 93x43 CUSTOM Barrier Free Curbless Pan, Their REDI WALL system and Niche and their their Tile Redi Flash, and their L Channel Tile Trim. They recently added their 4.75 inch wide waterproofing tape and collars. This was also the first time TILE REDI suggested how to waterproof the Barrier Free Curbless pan. They suggested applying their TILE REDI SEALANT at the seam, then a layer of their waterproofing 4.75" tape and more Tile Redi Sealant?
What I've seen from others is suggesting a much more substantial membrane past the curbless shower wall, like 18 - 24 inches. I was planning to purchase the NoFlo Membrane and Tape from TileCoach and use that for the curbless transition, etc instead for the transition to Ditra Heat. Or should I use the Schulter Kerdi membrane.
Anyway this TILE REDI Tape and Collars are new. Any experience, or recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks for the great information Isaac I'm going to schedule some time with you. Use my engineering background to pull a full and complete set of questions and background together. I usually use PVC baseboard but tiles also an option. Also I'm curious I was wanting originally to put ditra heat on my custom tile ready pan and had gotten mixed input on that
