Hybrid Mortar/Backer Shower Proofing
Been a long road to get here! Ended up with a hybrid material shower due to contractor issues.
Can someone advise if any additional liquid or membrane waterproofing is advised on the niche wall ? Corners or wallface? About to start tiling. The pan liner goes up the 6 inches above curb all the way around. Kerdiflex only goes up about 4ft in ther corners since I ran out, was thinking it should go to ceiling now since I' m paranoid and not sure if additional liquid is i order anywhere else.
Float on niche wall, hydrodefense backer on side walls with kerdiflex/redguard. The niche was fixed (after contractor used flexseal on drywall) with backer board, kerdifix and red guard. Thanks again Isaac for the suggestion.

They did the drywall, black paper material and wire under the float
