I need help determining what materials will be the
Best for tile underlayment on wall and ceiling surfaces to best prevent water instrusion. Have considered all from Hardi to schluter etc but want the best chance of success. It's an upstairs bathroom with wood structure. Have even considered doing a system like Schluter and then adding redguard or something as a double protective cover. Also wondering what to use for the curb. This will be a steam shower. The shower is 10' tall, 5' deep, and 7' wide. Thanks for any advice.

Okay, ordered all RSS stuff. After I install floor, walls, ceiling, etc. and overlay sheet membrane on everything, would you suggest hydro ban or something for assurance against leaks? Are there any negatives to doing that? Thanks for your help!!
