Shower Waterproofing

Linear drain with barrier?

I would like to put a schluter linear drain across the length of my shower so the pan only slopes in one direction. I also want it to be curbless so the drain needs to go at the entrance. Is it possible to do that correctly where the partition wall is an actual wall rather than glass? I'm unsure how to do the waterproofing there correctly or if it's even possible. It would need to be cut so it can be connected to the wall but also lay flat where it meets the rest of the floor. Would using an exterior corner underneath that work or is that going to not be possible?

One beer later and I'm already thinking that you could just duct tape a hair dryer to the wall on the inside of the shower and blow the water sideways. This is a completely impractical suggestion and will lead to zero productivity, but if I didn't think out loud, I'd never get anything done.

On another note, can't wait to see what it looks like when you're finished.
