After watching many Tile Coach Videos I did not see one about tiling an existing concrete shower wall from the 50's. I also have painted cinder blocks for the bathroom walls and need to float all the walls. What would you recommend I use for this job?

I have tiled a few floors in my day but have not done walls and I want to be sure I pick the correct products for the job. I already have my tiles, 12X24 porcelain and have my entire layout. Having a difficult time finding Dyna-Crete fat mud for the float in So Cal. However I can mix my own mud if necessary.
