Existing Curbed shower to curbless shower

I have an existing Curbed shower.

I need to convert it to a curbless shower. I have neuropathy in all 4 limbs from exposure to agent orange in Biên Hoa Vietnam. I have no balance and I'm afraid of falling.

My existing home and shower exist on a slab. Is it possible to convert my curbed shower to curbless?

Please advise.

That is a very labor-intensive job. You will have to dig out 2 in of concrete in order to form a slope. And you may need to redo the drain connection if it is too high up in the slab

Need help with a Snail type shower

Hi, I need help rebuilding a shower pan on a snail type shower. The pan has held up for 30 years but I need to repair a plumbing leak which requires taking down tile that is connected with the pan. The enclosure has a glass block structure that will need rebuilding.

What is the best type of pan installation to use that won't leak if I rebuild it with a radius. It's on a 2nd floor with plywood base.

Your Youtube channel has so much great info. Thought I'd seek your thoughts.

Prep for deck mud pan

Just finished the demo on my tiny (~35"x35") alcove shower and found that the builders exploited the shape of the old acrylic shower (it narrowed at the base, creating a fairly large void) to be really lazy when they framed it up, so these pipes protrude about 2 inches into what would have been my shower space. They are T'd into another line that feeds another bathroom and the vanity in this bathroom - I think they might be redundant altogether. The hot line does not get hot when the hot water is turned on in the other bath. Assuming that they're pressurized at all (which I'm not convinced of but can't think of a way to check without cutting the line), is there a way to cap these off below grade so that I can tile over them? If not, I'm just going add a 2x4 on its side…

New shower floor 15x30" tiles - didn't come out good - can I lay small mosaic tiles over it?

Greetings from Chicago

We just completed a bathroom remodelling project and the contractor did not do a good job on the tiling. Is there someone in Chicago area that can help. The shower is 60" x 30" and the depth is 2".

Issue #1: After showering, the water is not fully draining, there will be standing water in about 12"x 4" area with maximum water height of 1/24" (it is not in the full stretch of 12"x4" but in some areas within those 12x4" dimension - also the water is not exactly 1/24" uniform on all area, some areas it is just wet and other has may be upto 1/24")

We did not like how the big 15x30" tile turned out and also the cut out for the tile drain is not uniform (as you can see from the picture)

The depth of the shower is 2" from the floor…
