Schluter Floating Bench
Has anyone had any experinece with building a bench using 2" Kerdi board? It just looks like its not that strong.
An alternative method would be using a solid slab of stone and building into the tile.
Any thoughts or suggestions help.

Thanks Larry, I love that idea. Looks like a much better design than just using kerdi fix. I am going to give this a go! Exactly what I was looking for.
