Prep area sticking out.
This corner in my tub area was way out by 1/2 inch almost after getting it plumb & square. The end I'm pointing at had to be shimmed, while the other end is on the studs. Is removing the stud material best option to get this as flush as possible or is there some trade tricks I can do? Scroll down for full picture. Using Hardie for strength in this spot.

Fixed it!! pulled all off rechecked. Did locate the high spot correctly, Remove a bit of studs and it's really good!!
