Looking for advice on my shower curb plan

I'm in the process of building a form for my shower curb.

My plan is to pour the curb and tile directly on the poured curb. I could make it out of cement or concrete, I think it would be better with concrete with some wire mesh reinforcing. Also I'm thinking I'll drive in a few big tapcons into the slab about half way to help bond the curb to the slab.

Here are my questions:

Any general comments on the plan above?

Is there anything else I should do to ensure a good bond to the slab?

Should I try and bond the concrete to the Kerdi board on each end of the curb?

Thanks in advance for any input.

There is no need to use unmodified thinset on any surface.
