Drain Position with Right Wall Shower Head
I am in the middle of a tub-to-shower conversion (59" x 29") and trying to make the best decision for shower drain placement. The drain was too close to the wall, so I am trying to decide where to move the drain: middle of the shower or just further away from the wall. Here is one option, where the edge of the flange is 7" from the wall (limited by joist):

The slope is 11.3° (show by the drywall shim on the right). I am accounting for 3/8" slope that is recommended for pebble mosaic.
My main concern is that the slope is is too steep. I mean, sure, it would probably work, but it might not be a good look. I prefer a center drain, though this might not be ideal for a right wall shower head. The joists and drain line are positioned ideally for a center drain, though it would be a little more work to replumb it.
Any opinions on this?
