Ran out of deck mud
I finally got back working on my basement bathroom and hauled the 250lbs of sand and 100lbs of Portland Cement from the garage to the basement and it did not make enough deck mud because idiot me started mixing it 5:1:1 instead of 4:1:1. Actually, I'm not even sure there would have made a difference thinking about it, but I digress...
So I was not able to put the correct slope in. So I leveled it out about a half inch below where I need it to be. It got late because I'm a DIY junkie and work whenever I can so I don't have anywhere I can get more sand right now.
Am I very wrong in thinking I can let what I got down cure and then tomorrow mix up some more batches and put the proper slope in?
I believe that the half inch or so of top dress deck mud should be fine because above that will be schluter membrane.
tl:dr; My drain flange ended up 2 in above the floor with a max run to the wall of 36 in therefore the level on the wall all around is 2.75 in. I only had enough deck mud to essentially cover everything in about 2 in of mud. If in 12 hours or so I just put another layer on to essentially top dress and put the perfect slope in. Is that a recipe for disaster?

Awesome!!
