Foam Shower Pan - wrong trowel?

I installed my foam shower pan and curb today and realized after I used the wrong trowel. I used a small v notched trowel you would set membrane with and not a larger 1/4” square notch trowel. I spread a thin layer of thinset on the floor first with the flat edge and back buttered the foam pan fairly well. But my notches were fairly small as a result.

Am I screwed? Do I need to buy a new pan and start over, cleaning everything off or should it hold well. Shower pan is 71x31 with a linear drain semi off center an a curb along the long edge.

a 3/16" v notch is pretty small but if you flat backed it, it could be ok. Also, was it a "heavy" 3/16", or a "light" 3/16".? There are techniques to lay more or less thinset with the same trowel. Typically DIY's don't get as much as pros do with the same trowel. They tend to scrape it harder and lay it flatter.

It also depends on how heavy the flat back was. I would walk around on it and jump up an down. If there is any movement at all, it needs to come up. But geeze, thats a tough call. Maybe try prying it up in a corner and see what happens.
