Hydroban liquid membrane over band?

I’m doing tile around an alcove bathtub and using Hydroban board and I’m contemplating how to do the corners (where the walls meet). Obviously the easiest option is to use the Hydroban “adhesive & sealant” but since it’s my own house, I’m concerned about the long-term strength and waterproofness. My other option is to use Multimax lite thinset and Hydroban band (“sealing tape”) in the corners and for extra protection, I’m also thinking of using Hydroban liquid membrane over the banding so that the moisture won’t wick in to the thinset, under the banding. What do you guys think, is that way too overkill? Should I just trust the “adhesive and sealant”?

Yes it’s fine to do it! Nothing wrong with another layer of protection.
