I’m curious how this is generally done by tilers.

I’ve opted (so far) to tuck the tiles into the wall corners sequentially. In otherwords, I tuck one wall’s last tile into the corner and then overlay that corner tile when starting the adjacent wall.

The result is that on each wall I have a grout line in plane on one end and out of plane on the other end of each wall.

While you lose a bit of symmetry, it makes it easier to create a nice even grout line.

Is there a convention as far as this goes?
