Ledger board over Kerdi membrane?
I see a lot of videos showing the use of a ledger board to get a perfectly level first row of tile. If your using kerdi over permabase cement board won’t screwing in a ledger board defeat the purpose of using a membrane? Or do you have to go back and cover the screw holes with additional kerdi band?

I agree, we use straight edges on our installs and pump the hole and press with kerdi fix when finished. I like to keep my ledger as far up as possible
