Nail plates in shower wall
New construction, one wall is shared by the shower and kitchen. Contractor installed nail plates on the shower side as well. If it were you, would you go to the effort of leveling the studs to the outside of those nail plates, or just rip them out and mark the location of the pipes on your wall board (I plan on using Hydroban board) and make sure you don't puncture one of your electric lines or pex? I see a bunch of pipes going through this video here; they'd need many annoying nail plates if they used them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRJHB-f_izc Thanks, all.

Thank you, Larry and Isaac! It never occurred to me to do that - great idea! Just in time too as we're working on that today. 😊
