Curb directly over Tile Floor OK or bad practice?
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! This pic is the foam floor dry fit before I pour self leveling over a prepped and primed plywood subfloor.
Would it be OK to secure the curb directly over the existing tile, or does it have to be secured all the way to the subfloor? I do plan on extending the wall cuts to level waterproofing with curb, just not sure on the flooring
I'm at a crossroads wondering if I should cut the tile back to fit the curb in this case, or if setting the curb over existing tile would be allright.
Thanks guys!

you could do a foam or brick curb thinsetted directly to the tile as long as it is scarified and clean. I don't recommend wood curbs.
