Ditra heat - screed thinset then tile next day?
Would it be good practice to fill in the voids of ditra heat and letting it set before setting tile? It makes troweling easier when the surface is smooth.

Yes, that is a good idea. It makes it easier to snap lines and also uses less thinset while you. are setting the tile. I recommend Schluter All-Set for that. If you don't, we have had problems with the dry thinset "popping" up from the Ditra Heat lugs while you walk on it or kneel on it.
