Hello all. Newbie here.

I have to install a linear drain against the wall, curbless.

Almost identical in shape as the video series you made with the double linear drain. 5x8 shower, drain along the long wall. Heated with ditra duo.

I need to do this same floor with 12x24x 3/8" natural marble on the floor. (not my choice)

What is the minimum thickness of the mud pan at the drain?

I thought about putting an extra 3\4 layer of ply under the foam carrier? Then I would have 1_1\4 at the drain. Plus ditra to be level with the flange.

Edit: I am adding 3/4 ply to the entire floor for the ditra and marble.
