Curb edge (schluter)

Simple question:

Is it reasonable to place an aluminum Schluter 1/4 round edging at the intersection of the top (horizontal) and side (vertical) curb tiles in the shower?

Can't see any reason not too (as opposed to a bullnose tile), though for integrity I really liked the continuous quartz panel that I used last time.

My plan is just to grout the Schluter edge into that intersection. I figured 1/2" Schluter for my 3/8" tile plus (generous) thinset bed.

this is the arrangement.

It's a little atypical. A dropoff rather than a true curb.

Was planning to Schluter the edge where it drops off into the shower.

In other words, the schluter running down the length with ends just cut off at the walls.

I guess my only concern is whether Schluter trim is going to stand up to the traffic and water. I imagine it's not an issue.
