redgard and corners
i have all durock up and all seams mesh taped with alkali resistant mesh embedded in thinset.
I have a bit of a quandry now…
I want to redgard seal the corners and changes of plane. The plane changes are easy. I embedded 6” fiberglass cloth and coated with redgard.
My problem is with corners (inside and outside corners). I cant figure out a good way to fold the fiberglass cloth there without leaving a gap or a pinhole at the corner.
On inside corners a hospital corner works (a little bulky) but not on outside corners.
I bought some prefab corners but they dont work - made for use with thinset and too bulky.
Ideas?
