Floor Heat Splice leveling

I installed a heat mat in a small bathroom. Per the instructions totally enclosed heat wires in thinset. However there is a splice where the ac power meets the heat wire inside the mat itself. During the dry fit of the tiles I see its going to cause a signifigant bump in the floor and cause the tile on top of it to be really off and higher than the tiles around it. I wish I would have noticed this prior to installing the thinset but I didn't. Now I'm wanting to know what my options are. Should I just build up all the other tiles around to get it level, or possiby is there a way to remove material from the back of the tile to help it sit more even with the others. Not sure what to do, just looking for suggestions.

You can grind out the back of the tile to help out.
