Niche placement if cannot be symmetric
In my shower remodel, the studs limit symmetric placment of the two niches I was thinking of using... besides factoring position based on tile layout, what else do you consider? Water spray off the body during a shower? I am thinking 1 and 3, but what would you do? Left to right is 48" with 11", 13", and 16" bays. Sides are 33" with 11" and 14" bays.

personally I like 3 but I know my wife would say 1. I would use the whole width between the studs. easier to frame out too
