Floor tile
Hello, I am finally getting ready to tile 😎the floor! I have schluter ditra and its not super even due to the thinset underneath. I heard you can even out the floor with thinset when tiling. I am using a 1/2" trowel. How do you even the floor with thinset over ditra? Do you pack a little bit more thinset on areas that has a dip and when you trowel over just don't scrape all the way touching the floor? Or just use the 1/2" trowel, spread "evenly" throughout as I am tiling over a leveled floor and when I am pusing the tile into the thinset it will take care of the uneveness? Oh and what is the suggest grout size for floor? It's Arizona brand 12x24 rectified tile. I am thinking of 1/8". Not sure if there is anything else I should be concerned about.
Thank you!

Nice cut for the flange by the way 👍
