DIY Large walk in shower plan

2nd floor Master shower currently down to studs and sub-floor. Studs furred so everything is in line and plum. Rough opening dimensions are 102" x 40".

Plans is 2 Kerdi 38" x 60" offset drain shower pans. These will be trimmed to 38x39 inches with 22" tile entry (raised to match Kerdi pan height) in the middle. So basically enter in the middle

(curbed)a nd go right or left to a shower head.

40"x 40" pony walls from each end with 40" high glass on top.

Planning on using Kerdi board and Kerdi band with Kerdi all set and FlowFX drain flange. Then use Hydro Ban on walls. Is this advisable or are there better long term choices I should make.

The shower is complete. Isaac I could not have done this with out your help here and your youtube channel. So thank you!

Now I have to tile the floor. SubFloor is 3/4" OSB, floor joist are wider than 16" on center (I think they are 19" or 21" on center.)

How to I go about keeping the tile height to a minimum so the transition to the bedroom and closet (carpet) is kept to a minimum. Can I use Ditra or will I need to use wonderboard ?
