1.5" reducer on shower drain?
In the process of converting my tub/shower to shower only and my question is about the drain. I've cut the 1.5" pvc drain to where it goes into the 2" p-trap and now I need to get it back to 2" for the shower drain. Would it be ok to use a 2" to 1.5" reducer as shown in the 2nd photo? My other option is to ream out the elbow (which I don't have reamers for) or to start chiseling concrete (which I don't have a demo hammer for) and replace the whole trap.

Yep, take out the trap and replace with 2”. Home Depot rents out demo hammers.
