FloFX Drain Body & RSS Pan Slightly Misaligned

I have a 2" cast iron drain pipe that I will need to adapt to ABS using a no hub coupling. When I place my RSS pan over the existing drain pipe with the FloFX drain body in place, it is just barely out of alignment with the recess cut in the RSS pan.

Do I trim the FloFX drain body to fit the recess or should I try to carve a little bit of the RSS foam pan out where the drain body needs to sit?

I will be cutting down the cast iron and I have about 6 1/2" to go before I hit the leaded in hub. I already cut the pipe flush as a test to see how it would go with my Dremel and it was fine. I went through about two cutting wheels, but it cut just fine.

Now, I could cut the cast iron pipe as low as possible while still being able to slip the no hub coupler over it and then the ABS pipe would be a little longer. I suppose that would allow me to slightly bend the pipe into the proper position while gluing in the drain body. I just don't want to put too much pressure on the pipe, drain body and RSS pan.

As long as the flange sits down flush with the rss pan you are fine. If not, I would just cut a little bit off the pan to allow the FloFX to sit flush.

Looks great!
