Cut Glazed Porcelain Next to Mosaic Backsplash?
I’m trying to finalize tile plan before placing order. Above the vanity we want to run mosaic backsplash to ceiling. The vanity is 66” long and the total wall length is 111”. Where the vanity ends we want to run 12x24 glazed porcelain tile. The 12x24 tile is not available in 12x12. So I think, unless we get creative…I’ll end up with cut tiles along the interface between the mosaic and porcelain tiles.
The 12x24 tile have sharp edge, no radius. Would cutting and then smoothing with a stone be ok or how do pro’s handle this? Maybe I’m over/under thinking this.

I like that idea. 👍. I am starting on floor prep this weekend. I want to support your shop. What leveling system and shims do you recommend and how many do I need?
Have you ever seen ADA handrails used as shaving step/rail in shower? I don’t want a bench but a ledge or rail might be necessary.
